Quality Awareness. What does quality reflect? Components, products, or services being fit for purpose, Meeting customer expectations, Product, component or service reliability, The need for interchange ability with regard to supplying spare parts.

Quality Awareness. What governs quality to international standards? The BS EN ISO 9000 Series is an internationally recognised Quality Assurance standard.

Quality Awareness. Quality Control – A procedure for keeping quality of inputs or outputs to specifications. A system of procedures, checks, audits, and corrective actions to maintain standards. Control checks built into a system to ensure a quality standard is achieved.

Quality Awareness. Quality Assurance – Confirming the degree of excellence of a product or service, measured against its defined purpose. A complete program designed to produce results which are valid, measurable & precise. ISO 9000:2000 defines Quality Assurance as 'providing confidence that requirements will be met'.
