Price Sheet Review

There are several terms that are used with describing infrared heaters. Reflector – Is the shield that is positioned above the radiant tube to capture radiant waves and direct them down towards the floor. Heat Exchanger – Is the radiant tube that puts out the radiant energy. Can be heat treated aluminized tube, or hot rolled steel. Burner Head – Which of course is the component that generates the heat.

Heater Packaging Burner Core Package (up to 40 ft.) 1 2 3 The heater has 3 parts to it. A burner, a core package, and for lengths of 50 feet and longer an extension package. Burner Core Package (up to 40 ft.) Extension Package (50-80 ft.)

3 Ways to Order Heater Package – 1 Part Number for everything Individual Part Number Bulk

Part Number Naming Scheme BH40N-10A Input Feet of Tubing 1.) BH – GORDONRAY BH product designation 2.) BTU Input – 40,000 – 200,000 BTU’s 3.) Gas Type - N for natural, L for Propane 4). Tube length 5.) Tubing Type – A for Aluminized, H for Hot rolled Steel. *** Keep in mind the 1st 10 ft of EVERY heater is Alumi-Therm® tubing. Tubing Type (Aluminized or Hot Rolled Steel) Product Designation Gas Type (N or P)

Heater Package – 1 Part Number for everything Ordering the Heater Heater Package – 1 Part Number for everything #1 Ordering the Heater package Easiest way to order heaters. Follow part number naming scheme

Ordering the Heater All of these part numbers are for straight unitary heaters. We offer accessories that can convert the straight heaters into U or L configurations. These part numbers include the entire heater (burner, core, extension…). They do not include hanging chain (provided by others), or vent stack (also provided by others). We offer T-stats, vent caps, and other accessories but they are sold separate.

Ordering the Heater 2. Individual Part Numbers – Ordering Everything separately Choose your burner part number. Choose core package part number. Choose extension package, if necessary. 1 2 3 - Choose your burner part number. You must know the input and the gas type. - Choose the Core Package part number. Check length requirements. - The core Package contains tube reflectors and everything you need to hang the heaters except chain up to 40 ft. - If you need 50-80 ft of tubing, you must order a core package and an extension package. Choose extension package part number.

Ordering the Heater These are the part numbers for individual GordonRay BH burner heads. The contents of the burner heads vary by BTU and model.

Ordering the Heater These are the part numbers and list prices for the core and extension packages. (define part numbers) The column underneath “Tubing length” shows the minimum heat exchanger length for each BTU heater. With the exception of the Vantage HE, If your customer wants to have SS reflectors, you must order the parts separate. The “SS” on the end of the core or extension package part number indicates that the package includes SS reflectors instead of aluminum.

Ordering the Heater 3. Bulk Part Numbers – Ordering parts in bulk and making your own packages Order a burner Order bulk core packages – follow chart in price sheets Order bulk extension packages – follow chart in price sheets - Ideal for stocking reps. - They can order core and extension packages in bulk and make their own packages as needed. - They receive a discount for ordering bulk. Burners are not ordered in bulk. They still come in their own box.

Ordering the Heater On pg. 15 of the infrared price sheets will show how many of each component comes in the core and extension packages. This chart is a great reference when ordering heaters in bulk.

Ordering the Heater The accessory/bulk section starts on pg. 18 of the infrared price sheets. The part number shown in BOLD represent bundles or “Bulked” items. You can get a discount of approx 5% when ordering items in bulk. (Point out the asterisks and explain that)

Accessories

Lower Clearance Shield Accessories Reflector Side Shield Protective Grill Deco Grill - Accessories can be added to the heaters to make them fit or work in almost any application. - Side reflectors offer better efficiency compared to tilting the heaters to a 45° angle. - Protective and deco grilles - Lower clearance shield deflects the heat to enable lower clearances - U-tubes available to concentrate a higher amount of heat in a certain area or spot. Elbows, tees, cross tees are also available. - Controls – We offer a number of different line and low voltage stats, relays, and stat guards. Along with control panels that can tie into BMS systems such as UltraVac. U-Tube Package Lower Clearance Shield 15

Accessories and Parts This section is located on pg. 19 of the infrared price sheets. It shows the part numbers for individual items such as a 90° elbow and packaged part numbers The packaged part numbers include all items/accessories needed for that option For example: part number 03011000 includes a 4” diameter U-tube, a coupling to join the u-tube to the radiant tube, and 2 reflector end caps. Everything needed to convert a 20, 40, 60, or 80’ heater into a u-tube design.

Other Accessories Thermostats Venting Accessories Gas Lines Replacement parts Fuel Conversion Kits Numeric List We offer a number of different stats. Low voltage, line voltage, programmable, moisture resistant, Lonworks, Bacnet, and more. Vent accessories such as roof vent caps, or horizontal vent caps. Rubber Gas lines are not provided with the burner heads. The are sold separate. (pricing on pg. 20 of the infrared price book). Replacement parts and fuel conversion kits are available in the parts price book. In the back of all infrared price sheets are numeric lists.

Multipliers - The infrared parts price book carries all replacement parts for or current heaters, along with many replacement parts for older heaters we no longer manufacture.

Multipliers There is a multiplier group designation on the cover of each price book. The designation is listed for each page. In this case the same multiplier is being used for the entire price book.

Multiplier Sheet After you find which multiplier group to reference, the multiplier sheet (which is separate from the price sheets) will indicate which multiplier to apply.

Your Turn!

Replacement Parts - The infrared parts price book carries all replacement parts for or current heaters, along with many replacement parts for older heaters we no longer manufacture.

Replacement Parts There is a page reference on the cover of the price sheets. After your customer gives you the model number of the heater, you can use this reference guide to find the page for which the parts are located.

Replacement Parts - After you find the page number, you can then locate the part your customer needs. Far left column shows the part number for each item, the column to the right is the description for each item. (Then explain asterisks and how it works).
