Martin Scholarships 2017

You Need to Apply to be considered Scholarship forms are due May 11th. Pick up one on the way out, from the Main Office or download from the Martin website. Ask your PRIDE teacher for copy of your credit count form to include with your application

Martin 25th Anniversary scholarship Criteria: Strong academic standing Leadership and pride in Martin demonstrated through involvement in school activities Proof of registration at Post-Secondary $500

SRC Award Achieved average of 75% or higher Demonstrated leadership and pride in Martin through SRC involvement Proof of registration at post-secondary institution

Principal’s Award Leadership and pride in Martin demonstrated through involvement in school activities Proof of registration at Post-Secondary. $300

Senior Class Bursary Achieved grade of 80% or higher in core classes Demonstrated leadership and pride in Martin through involvement in school activities and in the community Proof of registration at a Post-Secondary institution

Community scholarships you can apply for

Rosemont Mount Royal Community Association Student Volunteer Scholarships awarded to two deserving, Grade 12 graduating students, who live in the Rosemont Mount Royal Community and who have shown exceptional volunteer efforts, both in their School, City and Community. This Scholarship is unique, as only “Volunteer involvement is considered.”   Two graduating students are eligible to receive $500 each, to be used towards a Post-Secondary Institution. The graduating Grade 12 Student will have to provide their Resume by May 15th 2017. This Resume should include all of their Volunteer efforts in their school, community and City. Resume to be submitted by May 15th 2017 to: helen.adams@sasktel.net

CARLYLE MURRAY EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION Applicants will be screened based on financial need, academic performance and extra-curricular activity who plan to attend a post-secondary institution (technical school or university) within the Province of Saskatchewan. The scholarship amount for 2017 will be $1,500.00, of which $1,000.00 will be paid at the beginning of the second semester in the successful applicant’s first year of postsecondary education (January 2018), and $500.00 at the beginning of the second year(September 2018). EVRAZ PLACE SCHOLARSHIP FUND Be a grade twelve student attending a Regina Public High School Completed your Grade 8 at Wascana Community School. Plan to attend a post-secondary institution (University, Community College, Technical Institute) in the Fall of 2015. Each applicant is asked to submit a written application including the following: A brief letter explaining how this scholarship will enable you to meet your educational and future career goals. Transcript of high school grades Letters of recommendation from three references $2000

OTHER AWARDS Based only on marks: Governor General’s Medal: Awarded to the student with the highest average of all Grade 11 and 12 courses General Proficiency Awards: Awarded to the top students with an average of seven specific classes. Number of awards is based on school enrollment
