Wrap Up and Homework Assignment Your Assignment: Your Personalized Connection Outline the key elements / goals of your role and create an “elevator pitch” connecting it to organizational strategy. Email it to your cohort facilitator before the next cohort session. Now create one for a project that someone on your team is working on. Meet with this team member and facilitate a conversation with them about how they see their work aligning to IT’s strategic priorities. At the beginning of the next cohort session be prepared to share how this conversation went, and how it felt for both you and your team member. Next session: Managing Career Transitions What to do: Assign the homework / call to action for the next 6 weeks. Wrap up and set topic/date for next session. What to say: You have a homework assignment to take this back to your team. Create your elevator pitch on how your role/ project connects to your Sr. Leaders and your company’s vision and execution strategy. Create one for yourself and email it to your cohort facilitator before the next cohort session. Now create one for a project that someone on your team is working on. Thank you for your time and open engagement today – its been great to work through this together and get to know each other better too. Does anyone have any questions and or concerns that I can assist with before we warp up now? I am also available to talk to at any time outside of these cohort sessions. Segue: End the session. Tell everyone to keep in touch through the 6 weeks. Ask them to share ideas and thoughts on the social media forum. Let them know you will be looking for their activity on the forum.
