Types of Prop. Selective information / Misinformation Is anything exaggerated or left out of the poster’s image of the army?

Reason for WWII Propaganda: War Bonds – Money used for loans to help the war.

Reason for WWII Propaganda: Soldier Enlistment: Countries need to get people to join their armed forces.

Reason for WWII Propaganda: To save war supplies – Things like food, raw materials and other goods were needed for the war effort so civilians were encouraged to save these things.

Other Propaganda Propaganda was often written on the back of fake money, to demoralize the enemy.

Modern Propaganda Propaganda is still used by countless people for countless reasons today.

Propaganda can also be in non-print forms. The Nazi’s during WWII made several movies to help change people’s mind about the Jews. Product advertisements can, at times, be much like propaganda.
