Brief Overview of International Program International Undergraduate Program (IUP) was established on July 25, 2007 based on Dean’s Decision Letter No. 46A/J10.1.12/SK/2007. At the beginning, the international program offers Accounting program, and then in the following years Management and Economics Programs are offered. This Program is designed to fulfill the need of facing global challenge. The International Program ‘s medium teaching is therefore delivered in English. In addition the students are encouraged to have academic experience in the overseas universities by taking double degree, exchange program, etc.

vision missions To be a center of remarkable management science focusing on the development of science and leadership, and also being able to meet the society need. Providing management education service to students in order to create competent graduates who have faithful and entrepreneurial spirit, and also have wide knowledge. Creating professional graduates in their fields who meet stakeholders’ need. Providing a great opportunity for academic staffs to develop knowledge, research, and service to the society which is relevant to their fields through formal and informal education. Giving higher achievement toward academic staffs and officers of Management Department in the form of the increasing of welfare and career development.

Graduates’ competencies Competencies of management graduates: Having soft skills: Self awareness, open minded, and sensitive toward the environment, business and management issues. Having Knowledge and Understanding Knowledge and business and management understanding Having entrepreneurship and managerial skills Having global knowledge and the ability to adapt toward business and management development.

CURRICULUM OF MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT The number of credits have to be taken by management students is about 144 CPs (Credit Points) which is divided into 7 groups, i.e : 1. Personality Development Courses (MPK) : 9 credits 2. Basic Knowledge and Skills Courses (MKK) : 58 credits 3. Professional Skills Courses (MKB) a. General : 26 credits b. Marketing Management Field : 14 credits c. Financial Management Field : 19 credits 4. Working Behavior Courses (MPB) : 8 credits 5. Social Courses (MBB) : 10 credits

Prerequisite Courses Students can take those courses with D score. However, at the end of those courses, students have to get “C”. Maximum amount of D score is 10% of 144 credit points, (or four courses), with GPA >= 2.0

Overseas Academic Program (OAP) Overseas Academic Program (OAP) is academic activities which aim to provide students’ understanding and experience of trans-national academic, cultural and business traditions in the surrounding university partners. Activities include (for Internship and Field Study): Sitting in a class lecture Visiting business practices near by the campus Visiting Library Visiting Business Laboratory Visiting Technology Center Student gathering with the home student Having Student Discussion with the home student representatives

Overseas Academic Program (OAP) DESCRIPTION Double Degree A program where the students take double degree in two universities. The implementation will be 4 semesters in UB, and 2 semesters in overseas universities Exchange A program that allows transfer credits and students studying in overseas universities for 1 semester Sandwich A program aims at providing the students in the final year who takes minor thesis to have discussion and literature review in the overseas universities library for 3 - 4 months Internship A program that encourages students either to have job experience in the overseas institution or to take part in the research center of the university partner for 1 month Field Study A program that encourages students to have academic experience by sitting in the class for 1-2 weeks in overseas universities without transfer credit
