Brief Introduction on QQ QQ, a kind of common IM (instant messaging) software, is becoming more and more popular in China. It can be used as instant chat tool between two people or among a group of people. It can also be used to send files (all kinds of files) or folders online to your friends online or offline.

Step 1: Download QQ instant chat tool on http://www. imqq Step 1: Download QQ instant chat tool on http://www.imqq.com/ --click free download “for PC” if your operating system is one of them listed below, otherwise, click “for Mac”

Step 2: Sign up

Step 3: The system informs you that activation email has been sent to your email.

Step 4: Go to your email box to click the link to activate your account.

Step 5: Then the system tells you your QQ number is : XXXXXXXX Step 5: Then the system tells you your QQ number is : XXXXXXXX. Click log in QQ

Step 7: Invite friends Search friends by clicking the icon at the lower middle (shown right), then a frame as below appears. Enter your friend’s account number or nickname, and click Search, then enter your request information. Please wait your friend’s response. Friends Account Nickname Search

Click the icon of the one whom you want to chat with, then you can see the following dialogue frame. Friends

Step 9: You can have instant chat and send files if your friends are online (shown below), and send messages or files to them even they are offline. They can get your messages after they login their QQ. Online phone call Send files
