Measurement Erika Holmes Gallons, Quarts, Pints, and Cups

Content Area: Math Grade Level: 3rd Summary: The purpose of this instructional PowerPoint is to help students to distinguish between gallons, quarts, pints and cups. Learning Objective: Given a picture of Mr. Gallon and brief overview on capacity, the student will be able to successfully answer questions on an instructional PowerPoint with 100% accuracy. Content Standard: GLE 0306.4.5: Solve measurement problems involving fractional parts of linear units and capacity units. Accomplishment: 0306.4.7: Recognize the relationships among cups, pints, quarts, and gallons.
