History 1997 - Western Edge Cluster (WEC) established to develop a collaborative approach across Melton 1999 – WEC programs officially started WEC now comprises of 4 Govt. schools, 2 Independent schools, 1 Catholic College & Djerriwarrh Employment and Educational Service Western LCP, Brimbank Melton LLEN, Victoria University and the Shire of Melton are all active cluster supporters
