IS THE “EVIL ONE” REAL? Jesus taught, “and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one” Matthew 6:13

“The fool hath said in his heart there is no God.” Psalm 14:1 How much more foolish do you think one would be to declare there is no devil? “I do believe in God, but I just don’t believe in the devil!” The devil is very real and he will destroy you if you let him.

Deceptions of the evil One “Well I’m not religious, but ‘I am’ spiritual!” “Well, I’m not one to judge others, because even Jesus said, ‘Judge not, that you not be judged.’ in Matthew 7:1?” “How can I be such a bad person, when I feel so right about myself?” James 1:23-27 “After all, God is a loving God, not an unforgiving and vengeful God!” Heb. 10:26-31

The devil is the god of this world! 2 Corinthians 4:1-6, “whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”

“Has the devil Asked for You?” Luke 22:31-34, Jesus told Peter, “but I have prayed for you, that your faith might not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.” Luke 22:54-62, The Power of Peer Pressure! (Where are you today? Warming your hands at the devil’s fire?) 1 Corinthians 15:33, Who are your friends?

“Has the devil Asked for you?” The devil attacked Job’s Character Job 1:6-12, 20-22; 2:1-3, 4-10; 42:1-10, 12; Job prayed! James 5:11; Romans 8:24-28, 31-39, Christ is our Advocate before our Heavenly Father to this very day. But if you are not a Christian! Satan has you! Colossians 1:13-14

Do you know the evil one? The evil one is the master of Character Assassination, and we need to recognize his tactics and not be deceived or tempted into doing his will! John 8:31, 43-47

2 Corinthians 11:12-15 If the devil came to you with a scary face, you’d run, but he never comes to anyone that way! False Teachers never come to you with a sign hanging around their neck saying, “I’m a false teacher, beware of me!”

These are Promises for Christians Only 1 Corinthians 10:11, “Written for our Admonition,” (Warnings from the past) 1 Corinthians 10:12, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”

God has always been faithful! 1 Corinthians 10:13, “But God is faithful, Who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” FOR CHRISTIANS ONLY

The devil has no Power Over Us Unless we let him! 1 John 3:4-8, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil!” Why Ananias? Why? Acts 5:1-5 Matthew 25:34, 41, 46; What was their habit in life? Hell is a prepared place for the devil and his angels!

What the devil will declare to all those in Hell with him! “I had no power over you, but when I called you came!” Visualize a Bad Dog on a leash, hooked to a ring on a clothes line!

Soldiers of Christ Arise Ephesians 6:11-20, Take your stand as a good soldier of Christ! We do this by the lives that we live each day. The devil hates you and hopes that you will ignore this lesson, and continue on in life as though he doesn’t exist at all. But he Does!

The devil wants your soul! The evil one wants your soul! Will you give it to him by doing his will? “So what, if Jesus was betrayed?” “Poor Judas, never had a chance!” Luke 22:3-6, “Then Satan entered Judas, surnamed Iscariot, who was numbered among the twelve.

Judas Betrayed Jesus! “So he went his way and conferred with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray Him to them. And they were glad, and agreed to give him money. So he promised and sought opportunity to betray Him to them in the absence of the multitude.” Judas had a plan!

The devil wants to steal your soul! Jesus died that you might resist the devil, BUT what are you doing? James 4:6-7 “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” REMEMBER THESE PROMISES ARE FOR CHRISTIANS ONLY
