4 8 Be sober-minded; be watchful
8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1Peter 5:8

5 I. Knowing Our Adversary
Our Adversary is the god of this world.

6 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

7 I. Knowing Our Adversary
Our Adversary is the god of this world. Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” Matthew 4:8-9

Our Adversary is the god of this world Our Adversary has an army

9 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12

15 II. Knowing our adversary tactics
Our adversary is on the prowl Our adversary schemes Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11

16 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:14

17 II. Knowing our adversary tactics
Our adversary is on the prowl Our adversary schemes Our adversary lies

18 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44
