Cognitive Behaviour Therapy CBT is a focused form of psychotherapy based on a model suggesting that psychological disorders involve dysfunctional thinking  The way individuals feel and behave is influenced by the way they structure their experiences Modifying dysfunctional thinking provides improvements in symptoms   Therapy is driven by a cognitive conceptualization and uses a variety of strategies
