Survey Results – KTC Administrative Services Prepared for KTC Staff Meeting April 7, 2014

Purpose of Survey Measure the quality of service provided to “customers” within KTC by the KTC front office Identify areas where we are doing well Identify areas where we need to improve

Survey Content and Execution Responses were requested for 13 different services provided by the front office. KRONOS Support / Payroll Assistance with Travel Arrangements Travel Reimbursement Purchases/Procurement Human Resources Support Marketing/Publications/ Outreach I.T. Support Grant Administration Printers/Copiers Staff Assistance with Proposal Preparation Library Services Motor Pool Mentoring/direction/guidance/ feedback from Director and/or Deputy Directors

Survey Content and Execution (cont’d) For each service provided, respondents were asked to rate seven different attributes of the service. Received adequate level of support Response was timely Staff was professional and courteous Staff was able to resolve problem Communications were open and effective Staff displayed knowledge of subject matter Staff is staying current with technology The five available responses for each item ranged from “strongly agree” to “strongly disagree.”

Survey Content and Execution (cont’d) Responses were completely anonymous. 38 people participated in the survey. Results are summarized on the following slides.

Comments Received All written comments received have been compiled and reviewed. 35 comments included in document, grouped by topic. We are developing proposed action items in response to the comments. 19 action items identified One has been completed Several are in progress We will communicate more information about these actions as they proceed.
