School Board Meeting Schedule Each school is taking a turn! Our date is:

Advocacy Report On November 14th, ARs (our representatives) voted unanimously Then, IRLA/ELA meet-up, building conversations informed us to: File a ‘Demand to Bargain’ and Grievance today based on the extraordinary workload associated with benchmark assessments and the lack of site-based decisions in the implementation of the assessment BAT teams, be ready.

We voted unanimously to join the Martin Luther King County Labor Council! Join thousands of Federal Way area union members and working families The council is working to support education funding We have 4 delegate voices to join that voice

FWEA Listening Tour and Connection Conversation FWEA Leadership and staff continue to visit buildings Overwhelmingly positive response connecting with members. We love meeting and hearing you! Exec Board is contacting ARs to come meet members! January 31 will be many buildings on same day. Schedule coming soon.

Member Grants! On “Resources” at federalwayea.org and open to all members 50 grants of $75 each Due back to FWEA Office (email or paper) February 13th
