Services NAELA Provides Chapters

Governance Service Package Maintain corporate status by preparing and effecting necessary State filings, including annual reports. Manage D&O insurance coverage application and annual renewals. Prepare/review/file IRS Form 990 annually in order to maintain Section 501(c)(6) status. Obtain Employer Identification Number (needed to open banking account). Effect necessary filings to maintain income tax exemption with state. Prepare/review/maintain Bylaws. Act as a repository for key records.

Finance Service Package Obtain/maintain Chapter bank account. Prepare and distribute checks. Create annual budget. Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements. Prepare/follow/update guidelines, policies, and procedures for use of Chapter funds. Maintain financial records. Budgets, balance sheets, financial statements, bank statements, and canceled checks are maintained for at least seven (7) years.

Administrative Service Package Schedule/coordinate quarterly Board conference calls. Assist in agenda preparation for Board and membership meetings. Provide staff person to attend conference call meetings and prepare Board minutes and list of action items. Regular email communication with Chapter members as needed. Schedule/coordinate two membership conference calls annually. Prepare and send notices of Board and membership meetings.

Webinar Service Package Manage online and fax registration. Provide technology platform (GoToWebinar) for webinar. Obtain and distribute content related to webinar. Conduct test webinar with presenters. Train Chapter moderator to lead webinar or serve as moderator as needed.

Meeting Planning Service Package Identify meeting site and negotiate contract. Prepare meeting budget (in conjunction with Chapter). Prepare meeting agenda. Coordinate food and beverage requirements within budget. Prepare and distribute marketing materials. Manage online and fax registration. Obtain and distribute content related to webinar. Distribute evaluation survey and prepare report on findings.
