Changes needed for RDA conversion Change the descriptive cataloguing form in the leader to “I”. Add subfield “e” rda to the 040 Add the necessary relator to the name in the 100. Change the 260 field to a 264. Make necessary changes to the 300 field, (spell out pages, illustrations, etc.). Remove the period from cm. The following fields should be added: 336 __ |a text|2 rdacontent 336 __ |a still image|2 rdacontent 337 __ |a unmediated|2 rdamedia 338 __ |a volume|2 rdacarrier Add any necessary relators to the names in the 700 fields.
RDA relators specific for Graphic Novels Penciller—responsible for primary pencil illustrations. Inker—responsible for adding depth and shading to give the image more definition, with use of a pen or a brush. Colorist--responsible for adding color to black-and-white line art, today most often done using digital media. Letterer--responsible for drawing the comic book's text. Cover artist—responsible for primary art of the book’s cover Artist—used simply when the actual duty is not identified
