Yr 7 Curriculum Map – Activate 1 Working Scientifically (KS2 assessment and setting process) Biology (B1) Chemistry (C1) Physics P1 Cells Body Systems Reproduction Particles Elements and Compounds Reactions Acids and Alkalis Forces Sound Light Space Assessment is carried out by a series of in class, content based tests, leading to an end of year examination

Yr 8 Curriculum Map – Activate 2 Building on ideas learned in year 7 Biology (B2) Chemistry (C2) Physics (P2) Health and Lifestyle Ecosystems and processes Adaptation and inheritance The periodic table Separation techniques Metals and acids The Earth Electricity and magnetism Energy Motion and pressure Assessment is carried out by a series of in class, content based tests, leading to an end of year examination
