Presentation transcript:

DCS: Temperature Probes Description - Temperature monitoring inside the UXC racks. - Each rack can have up to 16 analogue inputs. - Signals will be read through the DCS system: they can be shown on the rack monitoring panels, you can receive mail or SMS notification or send alarms to the alarm screen on values exceeding predefined limits. + 1 PP/rack (70CHF each) Cable to the turbine unit included in the price. Prices might be lower when ordered more than 20 units. + Sensors with halogen free cables: NTC 10k Ohm, -35°C...+100°C 6 x 32mm, 2 x 0.25qmm PE-Cable: 20 pieces:  35CHF/piece 100 pieces: 25CHF/piece 500 pieces: 20CHF/piece + some resistor arrays for the ELMB. (low price). The cable is the most expensive here.

Length of the cable sensor from the patch pannel ~2.0 m DT system. What we want: 4 NTC sensors/rack. HV and SC racks Water in/out (not in the following pictures, already installed in all racks) + 2 inside the air volume of the rack. LV racks Water in/out in middle heat exchanger (indicated in the picture) Length of the cable sensor from the patch pannel ~2.0 m 45 racks => 45 PP (+1 spare) = 46 PP 180 NTC sensors (+20 spares) = 200 PP RPC does not need extra sensors as long as we put ours on top of their MAOs in HV racks. We have to see how this PP is fixed in the racks. We said we didn´t needed on USC.

Connection to patch pannel: Each sensor: cable 1 of probe to connectors 1, 3, 5, … of patch pannel cable 2 of probe to connectors 2, 4, 6, … of patch pannel. Pair 1, 2 => sensor of pipe “water in” of the rack. Pair 3, 4 => sensor of pipe “water out” of the rack. Pair 5, 6 => LV racks: sensor of “water in” in middle heat exchanger SC racks: sensor on top of SC crate top closest to S1 HV racks: sensor below upper RPC crate Pair 7, 8 => LV racks: sensor of “water out” in middle heat exchanger SC racks: sensor on top of SC crate top closest to S6 HV racks: sensor below HV rack All patch pannels are in place. Turbine modification and cable from PP to turbine missing in all racks except SC racks. Legend of circles in next plots Ok, installed Foreseen, to be installed in the future Vittorio was installing them. I could not check if he finished. Turbine modified, patch pannel connected to turbine.
