However, in case of old firmware (HDV100/130 V1.063 and older, HDV230 V1.012 and older), it will be better to up-date them at first. Then, you can up-date them from HTS824 operation easily from next time.
1. Caution (automatic restart on KX-HDVxxx by automatic up-date) If network allow (direct or through PBX) to connect Internet, KX-HDVxxx phone will start automatic firmware up-date via re-direction server after factory reset on KX-HDVxxx (or start-up 1st time), by several automatic restart. During the up-date process, please do not make factory reset on KX-HDVxxx. Otherwise, up-date program on HDVxxx is damaged by the operation and HDVxxx cannot start-up correctly.
2. KX-HDVxxx firmware version. Following version can be registered to HTS824(HTS32) automatically in same network after just factory reset on KX-HDVxxx. This document show how these HDVxxx register to HTS824. However, it is better to up-date HDVxxx at first.
