No controlled assessment – 3 exams at the end of year 11

GCSE Maths has new content! Many of the old grade B higher GCSE topics are now part of foundation GCSE and will be Grade 5. For example: Standard form 4.3 x 102 Trigonometry SOH CAH TOA Factorising quadratics! x2 - 5x + 6 = (x-2)(x-3) Sector area and arc length + more….

Old GCSE Revision guides will have some new topics missing Buy a Revision guide aimed at the new spec.

The Course Structure Year 10 Weekly Homework Fortnightly target setting and reflection formal assessments at the end of each half term (Set changes may happen here) Final Year 10 mock exam in June/July – FULL GCSE 3x1.5 hour papers. (Year 11 setting is based on this!)
