Plants make soil In the forest and the prairie the roots of plants hold soil together this reduces erosion and helps conserve the soil plants also help make the soil is made of rock particles when plants die it still remains and makes soil Plants on earth 5 reasons plants are important Plant beautify Plants make oxygen Plants are important without there would be no oxygen or food Plants cause of their beauty are important elements of the human world when we build houses or other buildings we never think the job is done without trees Plants make food Plants are the only organisms that convert light energy from the sun to food and plants produce ALL the food even meat cow’s and chicken’s give us meat One of the materials plant produce is oxygen witch is a important part of the air we need it to stay alive

Has pollen and tiny eggs after pollination the eggs grow into fruit The stem gives the plant food Captures sunlight Absorbs water and minerals

Seed gets put on dirt then gets sprinkled with water Over time the plant grows roots and leaves start to grow over the seed The plants root grow bigger the seed gets covered then a small leaf grows Then the plant finally fully evolves to a plants

What’s pollination Plants that are pollenated are usually bright color and attracts the animals Pollination is a prerequisite for fertilization the fusion of nuclei from the pollen grain with nuclei in the ovule fertilization allows the flower to develop seeds How it happens People can transfer pollen from one flower to another animals like bees pollenate plants

Interesting facts I learned Around 2000 different types of plants are used by humans to make food. Fertilizers are chemicals added to plants to help them grow. Important elements in fertilizers include nitrogen phosphorus and potassium. Manure (animal waste) is also used as a fertilizer. Some plants are carnivores, gaining nutrients by eating various small insects and spiders. A well known example of a carnivorous plant is the Venus Flytrap. Bamboo can be a fast growing plant, some types can grow almost a meter (3.28 feet) in just one day! While using energy from sunlight, plants turn carbon dioxide into food in a process called photosynthesis.
