2. Why are plants important?
Plants are important because they make food for people and animals.
Plants are important because they produce oxygen gas.
Plants are important because they provide shelter for animals ,help animals find food and makes shade.
Plants are important because plants make soil and when they die there remains are decomposed and added to the soil.
Plants are important because they provide products like cloth , food and medicines.

What do a plants parts do?
Roots act like straws and absorb water and minerals. Roots help anchor the plant so it does not fall over. Roots store food for future use.
Stems support the plant. They act like the plants plumbing system parts, conducting water and nutrients from the roots and food in the form of glucose from the leaves to other plant.
The leaves help plants make food. Leaves are designed to capture sunlight which the plant uses to make food through a process called photosynthesis.
Flowers contain pollen and tiny eggs called ovules. After pollination of the flower and fertilization of the ovule, the ovule develops into a fruit.
Fruit provides a covering for seeds. Fruit can be fleshy.
Seeds contain new plants. Seeds form in fruit.

4. Plant life cycle First is a seed. It contains a new plant

Last the flower wilts. The Leaves or petals fall off the plant.
Next is the seedling.
Then the eggs grow. They contain new seeds.
Next is the plant. The plant has fully grown.

5. Pollination
Pollination is the transfer of pollen from the stamen to a pistil.
Plants get pollinated by animals. Animals don’t mean to pollinate. When animals get their food from a plant the pollen sticks to them and once they get to another flower the pollen spreads.
Pollination is very important. It leads to the creation of new seeds that grow into new plants.

Peanuts are beans. I thought peanuts were just nuts.
2. Pineapples are berries. I thought pineapples were just regular fruits.
3. Some plants are carnivores. They gain nutrients by eating small insects and spiders.
