Solomon 1 Kings 1-12; 2 Chronicles 1-9 Solomon began well. He asked the Lord for wisdom. The Lord also gave him riches, honor and long life Solomon, the wisest man ever Solomon’s greatest work was the construction of the Temple

The Prophets Isaiah, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Micah and Zephaniah also said similar things about future eternal kingdom A future Messiah would come and sit on David’s throne forever (Isaiah 9) and take away their sin (Isaiah 53)
Conclusions Leaders can set the direction of a nation for either good or evil Each individual must choose whom they will follow, either the Lord or those that cater to their sins
