17. Although they taught against injustices, immorality and other issues, the primary message of the prophets was to condemn the practice of idolatry that was so prevalent among the Israelites.

Why should we study the Minor Prophets? 1.It will strengthen our faith because we see God’s plan developed and fulfilled. 2.It will strengthen our faith because we see God’s longsuffering. 3.It will strengthen our faith because we see God’s diligence to His promises. 4.It will give us strength to stand strong for the Lord in the face of religious, political, social, and moral corruptions. 5.It should give us courage to put God first…i.e., avoid idolatry!
