Patient Survey The Barkantine Walk In Centre WIC Survey Aug –Sept 2016

Introduction

Introduction Walk in patients provided with Walk In Patient Surveys to complete Month of August and September 288 surveys completed Patient Survey focusses on 4 areas Hearing about the Walk In Centre 2. Booking in with receptionists 3. Waiting to be seen 4. Consultation with clinician

Suggestions on how to improve waiting experience TV We didn’t know how many people there were in front of us Include waiting time on boards Reduce waiting time by having more clinicians May be put something to read Waiting area cold Toys for Children

What we aim to do Play fun packed movies for parents and children both to enjoy while they wait for their appointment We need to think about noise, who will replay the DVD once finished Teaming with Holland & Barrets, Whitechapel and agreed to provide us with free magazines which we now have in the waiting area – We need to think about infection control, who will tidy up, what happens if magazines go missing Setting up a children’s play area in the waiting area We need to think about infection control, what toys we can have . We aim to update our Jayex Board with estimated waiting time to be seen at the Walk in Centre We need to think about logistics, who will update, how often we will update etc.

I think it is better than seeing my own GP The doctor was really nice All very good Very nice and helpful- doctor very happy need more doctors like this Theresa Mthembu was excellent and well mannered and helpful.   Good experience My consultation was very quick and not at all stressful- very happy with service- consultant was very welcoming Very lovely Room 8 Beatrice was excellent. I felt assured and comforted Quick and easy Very calm and peaceful,- satisfied and thankful for the service Very efficient, friendly and helpful I have no complaints very quick and helpful Beatrice really cares about her patients and this shows from when I went through the door I was seen by an African decent lady. She was excellent She was very helpful My doctor remembered me from a serious episode a month back, engaged me and asked me about that before I even talked to her about my minor ailment. Beatrice I think! Engaging super fast, amazing without these guys I would be helpless and struggling Good practice All Ok She was a superstar- Beatrice- Thank God for the NHS and your angels! Dr understood the service I required The doctor was very nice and helpful with my son’s needs EXCEPTIONAL SAVE THE NHS! Very good service with out it would be difficult to see a doctor and get treatment Very nice helpful, Doctor very happy need more doctors like this GP very empathetic, listened to what I said and did not rush me
