Here are some additional tips … Adjectives typically come BEFORE the noun they describe. However, at other times, adjectives follow the nouns they describe. E.X. Children, cheerful and noisy, called to us. A predicate adjective follows a linking verb. It describes the subject of a sentence. E.X. I was anxious to get home.

Here are some more additional tips … An adjective may be more than one word. When it comes before a noun, it is usually hyphenated. E.X. Part-time, three-sided Possessive Personal Pronouns They are considered ADJECTIVES because they describe nouns My, mine, your, yours, his, her, hers, its = SINGULAR Our, ours, your, yours, their, theirs = PLURAL

Here are some more additional tips … Words like many, this, and her can either be pronouns or adjectives. Words used as other parts of speech can be adjectives too. Must ask yourself if it tells which, what kind, or how many to determine if it’s an adj. Proper Adjectives They are formed from proper nouns. They are CAPITALIZED. E.X. French, Italian, Cuban

Articles are Adjectives … The words a, an, and the are special adjectives. They are called ARTICLES. An article can come before a noun or before another adjective. Indefinite Article Refers to one of a general group A and an are indefinite articles Definite Article Refers to someone or something specifically The is a definite article

Demonstrative Adjectives … This and These Point out people, places & things nearby This = singular These = plural That and Those Point out people, places & things far away That = singular Those = plural The words this, these, that, and those are DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES. They tell which one and point out a specific person, place, or thing.
