Film Since I have chosen to do horror for my film genre, I thought to create a horror, action and thriller brainstorm. this is because I can explore features of horror and use them into my film production.

Characters Main role A Good Person Bad negative role Strong Character This is when; a character has a strong sense of responsibility, control, throughout the film. Hero A hero, is a character who is a good person, who saves someone's life. Powerful A powerful character, is when a actor/ actress has a great input which enhances the film, make it more dramatic. Control Has empowerment over other characters, for example: In decision making. Victim An unfortunate person who suffers from some adverse circumstance Vulnerable Exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally. Hero A hero, is a character who is a good person, who saves someone's life. Helper Person who contributes to the fulfillment of a need or furtherance of an effort or purpose. Princess A female members, who feels she is given royalty treatment. A Baddie/A villain This is when a person plays a negative role. Most films the villain is a male. Also the villains are involved in negative roles such as crime,. Unknown mystery person This is when a person is not identified, usually in films they are Masked with a mask.. These people are usually bad.

Setting Shots Mise - en - Scene Sound Lighting :Dark, bright or Dim Costumes: It simply refers to the clothes that characters wear. Using certain colors or designs, costumes in narrative cinema is used to signify characters or to make clear distinctions between characters. For example in a horror film , if a person wears a mask, this portrays the person as mysterious. Location : In most horror films, the scenes are mostly taken place in a disclosed area haunted House, silent countryside. Actors : There is cultural variation in performance styles in the cinema. Weather Time of the day For my Poster, Website and Trailer, I will use several different camera shots, to illustrate different meanings. Here are a few camera shots that I may use : long shot, this can be used for showing a location of the place. A close up shot, could be used to show someone feelings and expression or revealing detail. If you are shooting just the head and shoulders of a subject this is a close up. A mid shot, is when the characters are shot from their waist up. This is where the viewers can see the character's faces more clearly as well as interaction with other characters. With this shot, you can still see expression on the persons face, while getting more information from what is going on around the person. Long Shot, This shot is useful for someone that is walking or moving Over the Shoulder :The over the shoulder shot reveals one subject as seen from over the shoulder of another subject. It simulates a view of the subject as seen from the second person's eyes. This shot is often used in conversations between two people where the director wants to focus on the person speaking. Usually these shots are head shots (close ups of the speaker). Sunshine: Night Day Time Bad Snowy Thunderstorm Hailstorm Raining Sound Diegetic sound means when sound that is made inside the frame e.g., door at the door, telephone ringing. Non- Diegetic sound means sound that Is played outside the frame, e.g. Fast pace music like Halloween music. Creates suspense
