Exercise Weight Control Physical activity burns calories The more intense the activity is, the more calories are burned Calories can be burned even with the simplest of household chores

Exercise Fights Diseases Physical activity can help prevent numerous diseases Some include heart disease, high blood pressure and type two diabetes

Exercise Improves Mood Just thirty minutes of exercise a day can help Physical activity stimulates brain chemicals that can help you feel better This also leads to a positive boost of self-esteem

Exercise Boosts Energy Physical activity improves muscle strength and boosts endurance Also exercising delivers oxygen and nutrients throughout the body This helps the body work more efficently

Nutrition Improved Energy Healthy carbohydrates include fruits, vegetables and whole grains By eating these it helps keep energy levels stable because it takes longer to break down Example of a good breakfast could be oatmeal with fruit

Sleep Lower Stress Sleep reduces levels of stress This leads to a better control of blood pressure
