RETURNABLE CONTAINERS Ensure the Returnable Containers are unloaded and re - loaded properly If this is one of many stops, the supplier will likely have to unload other suppliers containers as well as their own, load their material, then re-load the Returnable Containers for other suppliers If there are any discrepancies with the containers delivered, have the supplier make the necessary corrections to the Returnable Container Delivery Receipt Give the supplier a copy of the Returnable Container Delivery Receipt for their records, obtain a signature on your copy to return to Dispatch at the end of your route WI-13

FREIGHT VERIFICATION Using your Driver Card and the supplier generated packing lists, verify by part number and quantity the material that has been staged at the supplier. If you are not allowed on the dock to verify the freight, the bills should be signed SLC (shipper load and count). During the verification process you will need to check for the following; Container type Part Numbers Standard pack quantity Container count NOTE: You may verify the above by the Master Label ( when applicable ) that has been placed on the freight DLOC ( in plant routing ) is located on the AIAG label AIAG label conforms to GM standards Ensure the material is packaged properly and there is no apparent damage to the containers If any damaged material has been noted, request the supplier replaces the damaged if it can be done within the window time If the damaged can not be replaced timely, note the damage on the packing slip and advise your Dispatch WI-13

TRAILER LOADING Supervise the loading of your trailer and check for the following; Ensure the complete shipment has been loaded If there are any loose cartons, they must be placed on the “Mixed Pallet” skid located on the rear of the trailer Ensure the material has been stacked properly to prevent any damage or shifting during transit Supervise the reloading of remaining empty Returnable Containers if any Sign all shipping documents after the above is complete. If you are not allowed on the dock to verify the freight, the bills should be signed SLC (shipper load and count). WI-13

SUPPLIER NON-CONFORMANCES All supplier non-conformances must be documented and reported to your Dispatch before leaving the supplier. These may be any of the following; Dock door not available within 15 min of your scheduled arrival time, or your departure time is late due to the trailer loading process is not complete ( more than 15 minutes late) Shipment is not ready upon arrival (not staged) Any damaged containers Staged quantities are more or less than the required per your Drivers Card NOTE: Over ships must be approved by your dispatch, the supplier may be required to remove the extra material and adjust their paperwork. Standard pack quantities are not consistent Non-compliant packaging, supplier using expendables AIAG label or DLOC is incorrect or missing Supplier refuses to handle other suppliers Returnable Containers WI-13
