Ask the above questions of your audience – get them to raise their hands for each question Ask if their vision is documented Ask if everybody in the the business knows what the vision is Ask if everyone agrees with the vision

How can Pathfinding Your Business™ help? There are two broad approaches to the future: You can either play the hand that you are dealt OR You can decide where you want to go and work towards getting there Pathfinding Your Business™ is the process of developing a set of scenarios for the future of your business, selecting the most appropriate one and developing a roadmap to get there. If you don’t know where you are going you will never get there. Emphasize the need to be proactive, not reactive. You can shape future even if you can’t guarantee it.

Our four phase approach to Pathfinding Your Business™ … Phase One: Assess the external environment for opportunities and threats Phase Two: Assess the internal environment for strengths and weaknesses Phase One Two Four Three Phase Four: Develop strategic business plan that will deliver the vision Phase Three: Develop alternative strategic options, evaluate and select the preferred option Explain the phases. Don’t go into too much detail, we will look at each phase in more detail in subsequent slides.
