Are Fad Diets Healthy??? Slim-Fast Diet Joshua Lee

Slim-fast Diet Main features Every day you eat two Slim-fast meal replacements (ideally breakfast and lunch) and three 100-calorie snacks and the dinner option is a 500-calorie meal that you provide For the meal you provide, Slim-fast recommends filling half of your plate with vegetables (such as green beans, carrots, eggplant, spinach, or broccoli); a quarter with lean protein (beef, poultry, pork, tofu, or fish); and the remaining quarter with starch (whole wheat pasta or bread, brown rice, potatoes, or corn). This program states that you can safely lose 1 to 2 pounds per week with this meal plan.

How It Works Replace two meals of your choice with a delicious Meal Replacement Shake or Bar, and have one, 500-calorie meal. Customizable to fit your schedule or style to lose weight fast and the way that works best for you. Add an optional three low 100-calorie snacks of your choice per day. Organize your weight loss plan to your preferences, favourite foods and even cheat days. Clinically proven to help you lose weight and keep it off. Meal Replacement Shakes and Bars control hunger for up to four hours.

Is Slim-fast healthy for teenagers? I don’t believe it is any worse for teens than it is for adults. It’s a drink that has little calories but lots of sugar. By drinking shakes made by Slim-fast, you may not be eating healthy or getting enough of the daily nutrients you need that are recommended by Canada’s food guide (7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables. 6-7 servings of whole grain foods like bread, pasta, rice or cereal. 3-4 servings of low-fat milk, yogurt, or cheese. 2-4 servings of meat or alternatives such as beans, tofu, or lentils).
