Under 12 Festival 22nd October 2017 Venue: St Lawrence Academy, Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe, DN15 7DF Report Time: 9.30 am First Game Kick Off : 10.30 am Duration of Games: 25 minutes – one way Approximate Festival Finish: 12.15 pm Surface: Grass A changing room will be available to all teams. Scunthorpe United FC Academy will play in: Shirts – Claret Shorts – Blue Socks - Claret Visiting Clubs: There will be no kit clashes if all visiting teams wear their away kits.

PLAYING Format Format 9 v 9 Duration of Games 25 minutes one way. Substitutions Roll on - roll off. Festival of Football As this is an EFL Festival and not a Tournament, there will be no Final or play off games. Eligible Players U12 squad only – No over-age players should be played at the Festival. Match Officials A qualified Lincolnshire FA Referee will officiate on each of the pitches. Offside Rule The normal offside rule will apply.

CHANGING ROOMS Changing Room A: Scunthorpe Utd Changing Room B: York City Changing Room C: Lincoln City Changing Room D: Grimsby Town Changing Rooms A – D are what are normally the Home team changing rooms for Academy games and are located at the rear of the Sports Hall with the entry door located opposite the entry gates to the 3G surface. The school canteen / atrium will be open for parents to use as a Parents Lounge. Catering facilities serving breakfast butties & refreshments are available to purchase in the school canteen / atrium. Toilets are available in the atrium for parents to use.

FESTIVAL RULES Normal Association Football / EFL Academy rules will apply. All teams should be on their respective pitches and ready to kick off at least two minutes before the kick off time stated on the Festival Schedule. Each game will be 9 -a-side. Each game will be of 25 minutes duration. (See footnote). All games will consist of one single period with no break. No over-age players to be played. Substitutions are roll on – roll off. If visiting Clubs wear their away match kits, then there should be no colour clashes. Reckless play / violent conduct will see the Referee stop the game and ask the Coaches to substitute the offending player. Any players substituted for the above offence will not be allowed back on to the field of play for the remainder of that game. Players will be allowed to take part in the remaining games at the Festival. As this is a Festival and not a Tournament – there are no Semi-Final or Final games.   In the EFL’s Match Day Provisions document, and as a guide to Academies on the format of games, they recommend that U12s play 3 x 20 minute periods.
