Preparing for Registration Review the PowerPoint for a list of courses you will need to take Make sure your Pop-Up Blocker is turned OFF Students with an active hold on their account will not be able to register

Registering for Courses Log in using the upcoming term Students whose credentials are not valid should contact their Campus Director change to upcoming term

Registering for Courses Click on the “Unofficial Registration” link on the left side of your Student Portal page.

Registering for Online General Education Courses ALL online courses are indicated by “Type = ONL” with a section A, B, C, etc. Students are not restricted by campus and may register for any open section of an online course required by their program. When applying the campus “Filter” as shown in the next slide, you WILL want to pick your campus and the “Main-GenEd” campus to view the online general education courses

Registering for Courses: Understanding Course Types and Sections TYPE OF COURSE LAB = Labs LEC = Lecture courses (offered in the classroom) CLIN = Clinicals ONL = Online course (offered online) SECTIONS Sections starting with a NUMBER are for the PN and ADN Evening/Weekend Track only. You can not mix daytime and evening track courses. Evening example: NUR 150 COL-1 or BIO 253 COL-1 Day Example: NUR 150 COL-A

Registering for YOUR Courses Refer to the Term by Term slides at the end of this presentation for an outline of the courses you should register for. Place a checkmark in the “Register” box next to the course(s) you wish to register for. After you have selected all of the courses you need click the “PROCESS REGISTRATION” button in the upper right hand corner of the screen to complete your registration.

Registering for Courses: Add/Drop a Course To drop or add, simply click on “Unofficial Registration” and you will be brought to the main registration page. Use the Drop/Add function.
