1. meeting, July 2016 Pula and Poreč – port identification presentation regarding SSF framework on the European level (institutions, legislation, role of science, DCF, facts about SSF in the Mediterranean countries) and national level (institutions, legislation, national facts about SSF,), funding and opportunities for the stakeholders During that discussion several issue have surfaced as main problems of local SSF: competition with large or industrial fisheries working with bottom trawl, purse seiners and dredges both for space and resources but also for market competition for space with other SSF and recreational fishers unfair competition with recreational fisheries who very often work outside the legal framework competition with dolphins competition with touristic operations with speedy boats and other vessels in small ports during summer months finding new channels for placing catch on the market finding ways for better surveillance of fisher’s activities on sea by local authorities

2. meeting, September 2016 fulfilling of the questionnaire importance of data collection and sharing for the strengthening of the sector participation in the decision-making process. In total, 36 fulfilled questionnaires are collected, examples of more actively involvement of local SSF in the decision-making process in Croatia stock assessment of common lobster, Hommarus gammarus in western coast of Istria (northern Adriatic) assessment of damage caused by competition between dolphins and SSF

IZRADA PROCJENE ŠTETA OD PREDATORA (DUPINA) U HRVATSKOM RIBARSTVU sveobuhvatni pregled interakcije dupina i ribara kroz preliminarne upitnike na području cijele istočne obale Jadrana te strukturirane tjedne ankete dnevni izvještaji ribara promatranje s broda tijekom ribolovnih operacija, analiza ponašanja i veličine grupe dupina procjena direktnih šteta na različitim ribolovnim alatima procjena direktnih i indirektnih šteta ulova vremenska i prostorna raspodjela učestalosti napada davanje stručne podloge, preporuka te mjera smanjenja šteta

Procjena stanja hlapa, Hommarus gammarus u sjevernom Jadranu Dosadašnje projektne aktivnosti:   Zatraženo rješenje od Uprave za ribarstvo o suradnji s 10 lokalnih ribara na zapadnoj obali Istre o zadržavanju hlapova u vrijeme lovostaja za potrebe ovog istraživanja (KLASA: UP/I-324-01/16-01/139; URBROJ: 525-13/1282-16-2) Dodjeljivanje specifičnih registratora za praćenje ribarima s kojima je dogovorena suradnja Popisivanje ulova ostvarenih od strane ribara u razdoblju srpanj – listopad kvalitativno-kvantitativna analiza ulova Prikupljanje biološkog materijalaza populacijsku analizu ciljane vrste (hlap)

Planirane daljnje aktivnosti   nastavak gore navedenih istraživanja (listopad 2016 -svibanj 2017) provedba ciljanih ribolovnih aktivnosti uz pomoć mreža stajaćica (jednostruke i trostruke)i klopkastih alata (vrše) radi verificiranja ulova ribara i prikupljanja biološkog materijala analiza očevidnika u kojima su zabilježeni ulovi velikih rakova i aktivnosti ribara u zadnjih 5 godina u radu s navedenim alatima kvalitativno-kvantitativna analiza ulova, prostorno-vremenska raspodjela populacije zastupljenost nedoraslih jedinki i onih < MLS, ribolovni napor, CPUE po pojedinom tipu alata prikupljanje biološkog materijala za populacijsku i genetsku analizu ciljane vrste obrada biološkog materijala statistička analiza izrada izvješća i prezentiranje konačnih rezultata. interpretacija podataka za potrebe donošenja novih prijedloga i mjera upravljanja komunikacija rezultata
