What is pollution? Pollution is the introduction of harmful materials in the environment There are 4 types of pollution: Air Water Soil Light

Air Pollution Air pollution is the introduction of chemicals or biological materials that cause harm and discomfort for humans and also these materials cause damage to the natural environment.

How we can avoid air pollution? Use natural gases Use less amount of fuel in vehicles or just use hybrid cars Avoid using electric stoves

Water pollution The addition of harmful chemicals to natural water is called water pollution. This picture is taken near the river Mures in Pecica by Pintiliciuc Claudia. We can see how polluted this river is by observing the rubbishes in it.

How can we avoid water pollution? Rivers shouldn’t be used for bathing Rivers mustn’t been contaminated Never throw rubbish in the river Don’t throw chemicals, oils and medicines down the sink.

Land pollution The destruction of the earth’s surface and soil as a result of human activities, is called land pollution. These pictures show how dirty is the football ground in Peregu Mic. How can we avoid land pollution?
