Remove tape from pivot pin on WELD-FORK MNT PLT. Place BEARING-THRUST 5.812 ID X 7.00 on WELD-FORK MNT PLT in circle on plate. Side of bearing with lip on edge goes face down on WELD-FORK MNT PLT. Remove grease fitting from bag and thread into back of BALL JOINT-STEERING. Tighten. Lay WELD-STERING FORK 6XV down on workbench, as shown at right. Insert shaft of BALL JOINT-STEERING through hole in top of base of WELD-STERING FORK 6XV, as shown above right. Thread slotted nut from parts included with BALL JOINT-STEERING onto threads of shaft on bottom of WELD-STERING FORK 6XV, as shown above right. Tools: 5/16” Socket / Butterfly Air Wrench

Tools: ¾” Socket / Impact Wrench / Needle-Nose Pliers / Hammer

Tab on base of WELD-STERING FORK 6XV must be between the two tabs on WELD-FORK MNT PLT, to make contact as shown at right. Shop Note: Tab on base of WELD-STERING FORK 6XV must be between the two tabs on WELD-FORK MNT PLT.

If necessary, tighten or loosen NUT-HEX JAM 1 1/4-12 ES ZP to allow snug but not loose movement manually of WELD-STERING FORK 6XV. Shop Note: Pivot WELD-STERING FORK 6XV from stop to stop on WELD-FORK MNT PLT to test full range of motion after tightening NUT-HEX JAM. Parts: 3400083 Tools: 1-13/16” Socket / Impact Wrench

Insert screws through holes on front of motor and through fork. Secure inside fork with nuts. Tighten. Parts: 3400019 / 3400078 Tools: ¾” Socket / Extension / Impact Wrench / ¾” Wrench

Remove shaft nut from end of motor shaft, as shown above. Remove rubber band holding key in key way in shaft. Get (1) HUB-REAR WHEEL SW/6XV (3338076) and (5) STUDS-WHEEL HUB (3300415). Studs should already be pressed into hub, ready to install. Align slot in hub with key in keyway and slide hub on motor shaft, as shown at right. 3300415 Parts: 3338076 / 3300415
