The Church as a worldwide community for salvation A sin is any action which is against God’s rules. If we sin then we are divided from God and need to ask for forgiveness to be reunited. Christians believe that if you die without your sins being forgiven then you go to purgatory or hell. Purgatory- is a temporary place of purification where people go if they have unforgiven sins. Hell- is a place of eternal punishment reserved for those who have committed serious sins. It is eternal separation from God. Copy and define the three key words.
