Place Book Cover Image Here. Plot Plot What happened in the beginning of the book? In the beginning of the book, Jack and Annie find out their dog Teddy is under a curse. The need to get a gift from the prairie blue. What happened in the middle of the book? In the middle of the book, jack and Annie go to the prairie blue, and meet Black Hawk.
