In the beginning of the book, Hector Jones doesn’t want the McBroom’s to stay at his old farm so he says he wanted a white moth, They make a little forest with no shade and catch the moths. What happened in the middle of the book? In the middle of the book, a big wind comes along while the young’uns were playing outside on the clothesline. They get them down and their all right. What happened at the end of the book? In the end of the book, millions of millions of grasshoppers come and eat all the crops. They missed one ear of corn and it wins a ribbon.
