Step 4 - Take action Communicate intent Use power point presentation to staff and students. Use internal newsletter/ bulleting board briefing for teachers. Use news letter to share idea with parents. Involve key change agents Ask the steering group to share messages. Involve forward thinking staff and students to promote the introduction of coaching as part of a high performance culture.
Step 4 - Take action First intervention Introduction coaching to the Senior leadership team. Encourage them to start to be role models. Introduction of the coaching to the steering group ask them to be ambassadors for the new culture. Roll out coaching across the school Develop a coaching culture within individual departments. Ask teachers to buddy up to support each other. Introduce action learning sets. These are run in small groups using a coaching model e.g. GROW model to find solutions practical issues. Introduce coaching to students as part of their learning & skill set.
