Our contribution to our school community is centred on the following values

The learning opportunities here, together with excellent teaching and a supportive curricular structure allow any student to achieve skills and knowledge equipping them for the world of work and social responsibility.

4. We will be effective in developing the above with the support of Student Voice.
Student Voice is at the heart of learning and school life.  This school will see better learning when Student Voice is included.  Giving students control over aspects of their learning leads to much more engagement.
All members of this school have to show respect to each other. Our aim has to be co-operation between students, all staff and parents and carers for the development of all round effective education.
We aim to help students learn from being exposed to real life issues and challenges.  They will learn that they do not always get what they want, but that their voice is heard in real decision making about things that matter to them.
Everyone is included. We respect ideas wherever they come from, and work hard to hear quieter, less confident students.
We have a wide range of ways to be involved to encourage as many students as possible to get involved. 

5. We encourage regular interaction between students by setting up ways for them to get quick access to space to meet, resources, permissions and each other. 
We reflect our ethos in policies and governance.  We make sure that key documents are written together with students and made accessible.
We show impact as Student Voice is about action; we collect research and evidence to prove it. 
We link with the core work of the school. 
We trust students. 
We communicate regularly through different channels, support Student Voice with staff time and ensure ideas are shared.
We link with governors to share student opinions and progress.
We will be brave and experiment, evaluate and reflect ways to improve student experiences, always ready to review and innovate.
