Teachers can add comments directly on Unifrog, supporting students in real time.

How can Unifrog improve attainment? Students can see clearly what grades they need to achieve at GCSE and A-level for certain courses. GCSEs are increasingly important with the new linear A-levels and no AS results. It also helps ensure that students don’t restrict themselves early because they are aware of subject and grade requirements. Emphasise that for other qualification types this will be adjusted on Unifrog accordingly.

How can Unifrog improve aspirations? Unifrog gets students thinking about university early. It allows them explore courses that they may never have heard of before in a way that they can absorb. They will become familiar with Russell Group universities and Oxbridge colleges so that when they come to apply, the increased exposure will mean they are more likely to apply to the best universities for them.

The benefits of using Unifrog The Department for Education has directed Ofsted to give careers guidance higher priority in school inspections. Schools have a statutory responsibility to provide independent and impartial information on students’ full range of options, including vocational routes such as apprenticeships. Good careers guidance motivates students to work hard towards their goals - thus raising attainment. Good careers guidance motivates students to work hard towards their goals - thus raising attainment. Graduates from Russell Group universities earn up to 16% more than graduates from other universities. Unifrog is mapped against the Gatsby Benchmarks to help you deliver Outstanding Careers Guidance.

Allerton High Business and Enterprise Specialist School “The impact Unifrog has had on our school and students has been fantastic; the unifying system is a one stop shop that has ensured students can search for opportunities and teachers can track and communicate with them more effectively. We have also seen a marked improvement in the research students have been doing about opportunities, importantly they are making smarter and informed choices.” Ben Harding Director Post 16 Studies Allerton High Business and Enterprise Specialist School
