INFINITIVES: not conjugated base to -AR, -ER, or -IR An infinitive is a VERB that is __________________. The infinitive is the __________________form of a verb. In English, infinitives always have the word _______________in front of them. In Spanish, infinitives will always end in _________________ not conjugated base to -AR, -ER, or -IR
Using a dictionary: When you need to look up a Spanish verb, it will always be listed in the INFINITIVE form in the dictionary (or on www.wordreference.com.) That way, you know what kind of verb it is (AR, ER, IR) as well as what it means.
