What Kangaroos Look Like Did you know that most kangaroos are red and gray? Kangaroos furry all around its body. They have big feet to box other kangaroos, and make them jump higher. They have a tail to help them keep balanced during boxing matches. So those are some facts about what kangaroos look like.

WHERE KANGAROOS LIVE Kangaroos have an interesting habitat .Most kangaroos live in groups. They live in forests and dry grasslands. Its hot in the day and cold at night. There isn’t that many trees. That is a kangaroos habitat. There are many interesting things about a kangaroos ecosystem. They have lots of wide open space. They don’t have that many trees or plants. They are located on Australia. There are many mountains and hills. That is there ecosystem.

Adaptations Did you know that animals use adaptations to help them live. Adaptations means what they do because of their ecosystem. When the mom is raising her babies as she keeps her baby in her pouch on her stomach so it is safe. They have big feet to jump away and defend from predators like a dingo. They have two front teeth that snip twigs and grass. They lick themselves to keep cool. They use their tail to help them keep balanced. So those are some adaptations of a kangaroo.

WHAT KANGAROOS EAT There are many things that Kangaroos eat. They are herbivores so they eat grass, twig, and leaves. Did you know kangaroos also eat roots. They feed from dusk to dawn. some predators are carnivores, and dingoes. Dingoes look like coyotes if you didn’t know what dingoes look like and are. That’s what kangaroos eat.

FUN FACTS There are many cool facts about kangaroos. A baby kangaroo is called a joey. They all jump in mobs. Male kangaroos box to see who is stronger. Once a mama kangaroo is pregnant it is pregnant for the rest of its life. Did you know that when a baby kangaroo is born it is the size of a jelly bean. That is some fun facts about kangaroos.
