sEnior Expectations Respect and follow all school rules. Sign and return senior contract. Pay senior dues. Pass all regents exams and required courses. Pass a minimum of 6 classes each term.

Graduation Policies & Procedures Grade Level and Promotion Standards Chancellor’s Regulation A-501 specifies promotion decisions for students in grades 9-12 are based on credit accumulation, successful completion of course work, and passing of Regents exams.

Participation in Commencement Ceremonies Per NYCDOE policy, high school students must meet promotion/graduation requirements to participate in their school’s graduation ceremony.

Participation in Commencement Ceremonies Per NYCDOE policy… schools may prohibit a student from attending commencement-related activities or graduation ceremonies when he/she poses a real threat of violence or disruption to the event.

Participation in Commencement Ceremonies Per NYCDOE policy… students who are already on suspension at the time of the commencement ceremonies also may be prohibited from attending these events.

sEnior trip & prom requirements Have signed and returned senior contract and paid senior dues in full. Not have any grade of No Show (NS). Have passed 4 out of 5 required regents exams. Have a clear disciplinary record. Have passed all classes necessary to graduate.
