Setting The time and place a story takes place There may be more than one
Plot The sequence of events in a story
Plot Diagram Exposition Rising Action: Actions that lead to the climax *Central Conflict- base problem/struggle that no other conflict could exist without, *conflict- struggles internal and external, and *complications- areas that prevent the resolution Climax: the turning point of the story/usually most intense part Falling Action: Events leading to the resolution Resolution: The solution or end result of the problem (can be directly give or implied)
