Purpose Ease common career transition challenges for alumni Make it easier for employers to find alumni who match their open careers Connect alumni to share experiences, ask and answer burning questions, and expand their network Better gather information on alumni to continue improving all AOG services INTEGRITY FIRST SERVICE BEFORE SELF EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO

Project Description Working with all other service academies to provide a joint career services platform Provide an “Air Force AOG” platform, exclusively for AFA alumni Platforms will mirror each other, except our AFA platform will have Mentoring Air Force alumni-specific networking Transition and Professional Development Opportunities More capabilities down the road, as we grow INTEGRITY FIRST SERVICE BEFORE SELF EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO

Scope All Air Force Academy Alumni All Graduates will have full use of tools and resources, regardless of AOG membership Joint service academy “hub” will encompass all alumni from AFA and U.S. Military Academy U.S. Naval Academy U.S. Coast Guard Academy U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Introduction to the new systems will continue over the next year, based on feedback and testing INTEGRITY FIRST SERVICE BEFORE SELF EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO

Goals and Objectives in Year One (Launch Date: May 26 and 27, 2016) Maximum participation by all alumni, especially classes who are most likely to be transtioning Build better relationships with employers Increase SACC participation Gather metrics to help grow the Career Services program in subsequent years Work with Chapters to encourage participation by all alumni Communication support Introductory tutorials INTEGRITY FIRST SERVICE BEFORE SELF EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO

Long-Term Goals and Objectives Well-prepared alumni entering the civilian job market Increased hires as a result of SACC Increased awareness among employers of service academy alumni candidate quality Robust networking opportunities throughout the country for job-seekers Solid mentoring relationships between alumni Stronger chapters and increased participation Positive perception of AOG among alumni Increased AOG and alumni chapter membership INTEGRITY FIRST SERVICE BEFORE SELF EXCELLENCE IN ALL WE DO
