Tractor Safety, Operation, and Maintenance Tractor Systems A VGP Production 2003

Tractor Systems The tractor has many systems that must be properly serviced and maintained to insure long life and service.

Engine Classifications With the demise of the steam powered tractor in the late 1800’s, most modern tractors are equipped with internal combustion engines. Internal combustion engines are identified by the number of strokes in the cycle and by the fuel that is used to run them. Common Tractor Classifications: 4 stroke cycle - gasoline - diesel - LP
