Interviewing Be sure to prepare. Know answers to commonly asked questions. (How to Nail the Job Interview, ASHA Leader, May 2015. http://leader.pubs.asha.org/article.aspx?articleid=2290917) Answers should be concise – do not ramble, be professional. Ask for help before you go. Read the website carefully. Send a handwritten thank you note immediately.

Observation Show up on time. Dress appropriately. Ask questions at appropriate times and in the appropriate quantity. Look interested throughout the day. Know your place – do not offer information to a patient/family unless asked. Make it easy to host you – look like a team member they would want to have.
