WECC-0116 PRC-006-WECC-CRT-1 Change in Periodicity The current version of the criterion requires an annual validation of the WECC Off-Nominal Frequency Load Shedding and Restoration Plan It is currently taking approximately 18 months to complete each validation The SAR is to change the periodicity of the validation to every two years Current NERC standard requires validation once every five years. Western Electricity Coordinating Council Project 2007-06.2 Phase 2 of System Protection Coordination. This calls for revisions to TOP-009-1 and retirement of PRC-001-1. It is moving the requirements for Knowledge of Composite Protection Systems and RAS to the TOP family of standards rather than in the PER (Training) family. It is in ballot from January 10-19, 2016.
